twist of faith

let me say in my modest term the present situation. There was a change in leadership. i was a bit shock with the turns of events but never the less, let me just a face the present situation. The very reason why there was a change in authority will no longer be my concern. Maybe its just a TWIST of FAITH let me call it that way.

Dr. Virgilio de Guzman will the man in command as of the moment for the whole surgery residents. To describe him--- he is simple, down to earth, easy to deal with and a mature person. You seldom hear comments regarding his attitude especially dealing with patients and co-residents. Not only that, he can also crack some jokes for everybody. With the guidance of the boss plus the cooperation of the rest of the residents he will surely make good leadership.

May the force be with you partner, just to remind you high position comes with great responsibility.

working at the hospital sometimes over burdens our body, mind and spirit. I mean it could affect our whole system to work to the fullest. And to give justification to this very tiring job of a doctor, it just fine and easy to break a leg sometimes.

The objective is simply to relax,enjoy and forget the work at the hospital for a moment. Have some talk with each other and even discuss some of the few sensitive issues going around us. In this way we could express ourselves and to the extent even disinhibiting our own inhibitions. What a nice thing to forget the real world for a moment.

New Member of the Group

The macho-guapito from the north, he is DR. Julius Bumadilla. The youngest member of the group, seeking for his training in the field of Surgery at Jose B. Lingad Hospital.
Young as a member of the group but with firm and strong conviction to finish the training.

After finishing a rigid one month pre residency observation, plus the panel interview with the consultants (atleast 12 consultants), plus the examination he took-----finally he made.

My friendly advised. With the bulk of patient you will be handling in the next four years of your training, just try to keep your cool, always be patient and be humble. Always give your share of respect to your superior.

Much is expected from you. Good luck! Don't turn them down.

my new rotation

This is one new thing, my new company------ the JBL group. They are the few, the bold, the gorgeous surgeons from Jose B. Lingad Hospital at San Fernando, Pampanga.

THE FEW---- because of the many things ought for them to do at the hospital, still they are being recognized as solid and strong. In all aspects of surgery. From Head Injury down to your toes. All they could manage.

THE BOLD--- guided by their boss Dr. Manalastas their chairman & Dr Danac the undying training officer, they are molded as one strong surgeon. Obcourse to include the rest of the consultant staff are their guide.

THE GORGEOUS--- with their looks they are not to be missed, to exagerate things up....they are head turners. Thats why girls are always at their side. Not to forget Dr Medina the only girl on the group, she has also his prince charming.


Well on my part, all i can say is that i am trying to enjoy their company to whatever extent it would take. I am just a visitor there and i should comply to their rules. Thou at sometimes i would rather deal with them individually because thet have their own characters.

This are my company for the next three months of my trauma rotation at San Fernando Pampanga.

always happy

Its always nice to have a group like this. Party.....Party.....Party all the time. Besides the seriousness of the job in operating and attending to the many patient in the hospital, still they set some time to unwind and relax a bit. Coupled with lots of food plus the spirit teaser.......SAN MIGUEL LIGHTS BEER really makes everybody going. And to mention still lots of party are reserved for the coming weeks.
